“The gift (Talent) of a man maketh way for him” (Prov. 18)
The scriptures above did not say the certificate of a man maketh way for him. It is a good thing to have a certificate from a higher institution of learning. But, what brings you big time honour in this world is/are your talent(s).

I have seen several frustrated people with good certificates. I have seen frustrated doctors, beggarly lawyers, stressed up bankers, and architects that look like paupers!
Nevertheless, I personally know a highly successful tailor with about seven people gainfully employed by him. At the same time, he helps them all to perfect their tailoring skills. This talented tailor is contributing meaningful to the development of his Country (Nigeria in this case). It is important to know that in Nigeria, for everyone person you employ, you feed ten persons. So, for the tailor, 49 Persons can boast of their daily bread because of him. That’s success!
Talent is bigger than certificate!

Come on, I am not against certificates, I have one. Go to school if you can, it helps to polish your mind so you can assimilate information. But, your talent, if developed can take you farther than mere information assimilation. Your talent will bring you before people of honour and influence it will knock down iron gates for you and take you very far in this world.

Friends, what is that thing that you do that gives you so much Joy and fulfillment? Radically develop yourself in that direction! Be bold about it! Do not listen to external voices! Listen to the voice within. I have made more money through writing than I ever made with my certificate. I chose to build myself with the best materials in writing and read the books of some of the best authors in the world. Today, I edit/proofreads and forward books for other authors.

Don’t go to the grave with that beautiful talent God Almighty has blessed you with. Use it to make this world a better place. I love you.
